Science Fair

All eighth grade students participate in the school science fair. Winning entries are entered into the district science competition. Recent St. Vincent students have won prizes, cash awards and scholarships from their entries. St. Vincent Elementary School has had its students recognized for their exceptional science abilities and for it's excellent science education.

In 2005-2006, the Governor's Award of Excellence in Science Education has been awarded to St. Vincent Elementary School and junior high science teacher, Mrs. Mary Benzie. This award is given to a school and a specific science teacher by the governor of Ohio because of outstanding student achievements in testing and science completions.
