MONTE CARLO SUCCESS! Thanks to all of you who made this night possible - there are too many to count who had a hand in putting this amazing event together! Many thanks too to all of you who came to the Monte Carlo Night and supported the cause! We are so fortunate as a school community to have this kind of participation and support. MARATHON VICTORY! The Parents’ Association’s first 5k run “Ready, Set, Serve” was a huge success and a lot of fun despite the cold weather. We had 292 registered runners and raised $5218.00, of which $3109.00 is being donated to Habitat for Humanity and $2109.00 to St. Vincent Elementary in memory of Mr. Frank Horn. We want to thank our many generous sponsors: Expense Solutions, Reiter Dairy, Fifth Third Bank, Robert J. Events & Catering, Bruegger’s Bagels, Einstein Brother Bagels, Acme Fresh Market, Proforma and Jim Chaney. We would also like to thank the many volunteers, especially the parents and students of the St. Vincent School 2011 8th Grade class who came out to support the Horn family in honor of Will Horn, a graduate of that class. SPAGHETTI DINNER SUCCESS! The entire 8th grade, and their parents, thank you for coming to the Spaghetti Dinner last weekend. The dinner was a lot of fun with great food and friends, and is sure to become an annual event. Your support helped the 8th grade raise over $1400 towards their trip to Washington, D.C. Thank You! THANK YOU FROM THE 8th GRADE: The Market Day “Life: Styles” gift catalog fundraiser was a huge success! We sold $3171 worth of items for a profit of $1528.84! Thank you for your support!! The gift items will be delivered to the school the week of November 14. Announcements regarding pick-up will be sent home as soon as the items are ready.
